If you, like me, have a combination of oily skin and want to find good products to combat imperfections: this article is for you!

Since I have been using Paula's Choice products, I must admit that my skin condition has greatly improved.

Booster 10% Azelaic Acid

I had heard about this active ingredient for a while, which is strangely little used in cosmetics when it has a lot of qualities.

It helps, in particular, to reduce brown spots left by pimples and make the skin less sensitive. The effect is the same as a gentle leave-in exfoliant, helping to cleanse the pores and purify the skin.

You have to bet on a concentration at least 10% to see a difference, but on very important skin problems it is advisable to use a product with a higher concentration (but this will be on medical prescription)

The 10% Azelaic Acid Booster also contains 0.5% salicylic acid and a mixture of plant extracts to soften the skin and adenosine to combat skin aging.

In terms of use, it's very simple: either apply it directly to the skin or mix it with your day or night cream.
For my part, I opt for direct application, just after cleaning.

But I think that next winter I will couple it with an exfoliating cream with glycolic, lactic, or salicylic acid (I have a preference for glycolic acid ).
I used it at the same time as the Clear Night Cream, the results are therefore for me combined.

The texture is light, it is a gel-cream which penetrates quickly and does not leave oily skin, does not make it shine.
And indeed, I was rather used to fairly rich textures and there my skin revived. Especially in summer, it is hot in the evening and the texture is ideal not to shine while treating the skin.

Result? You see it in the photos, it's been a long time since I had such pretty skin (apart from the redness). More pimples on the chin, much less black dots… It does the job! And believe me though, my skin is not easy at all. So the improvement is there.

The Unscrub

So she created this product which is actually a very gentle exfoliating cleanser. It contains jojoba beads, soluble and non-abrasive, which will help to gently remove impurities.
We have all been foolish enough to erase too hard with an exfoliating product (come on, admit it!) And finish tomato red, well it's impossible to irritate your skin with the Unscrub.

It is the ideal product for perfecting make-up removal, removing residues from sun filters, pollution, and other stubborn impurities.

How do we use The Unscrub?

On moistened skin, apply a dab of Unscrub then massage and rinse with warm water.

Here we have a massage effect and not exfoliating or exfoliating, which can be disturbing if you expect an exfoliation.
