The brush comes in a travel case (hyper qualitative), with the location for 2 brush heads (the spouse can therefore also use it, just swap the heads).
But that's not all ! The toothbrush offers several charging possibilities. The first is to simply place it in the glass and the brush recharges by induction. Practical and pretty, and above all super stable.

A full recharge (24h) will allow 3 weeks of use. But also, in case that is not enough, when traveling we will have the possibility to connect the box thanks to the USB adapter, either to a laptop or to a wall outlet. Super smart isn't it?

Then we come to the characteristics of the DiamondClean.
I can tell you that the first time you use it is surprising: it vibrates so much that it tickles your mouth! In 2/3 sessions of use, you get used to it, but I had never had this impression in the past, this is to tell you if it is fast: 62,000 brush movements per minute!

Regarding brushing, do not press, the brush does all the work and even has a built-in timer: it tells you by small beeps every 30 seconds that it is necessary to change the zone, and switches off automatically after 2 minutes.

The DiamondClean brush cleans gently, it is of quality and lasts super long. You have a wear indicator: the small blue lines fade overuse, it must be changed when they have turned white.

Then (because no, it is not finished), the brush offers us 5 brushing modes.

• "  Clean  " mode: this is the classic mode, 2 minutes of brushing with signals every 30 seconds.
• “ White  ” mode: it adds 30 seconds to the classic mode to emphasize the front teeth
• "  Polish  " mode: quick 1-minute mode to make the front teeth shine (to be done after the classic mode).
• " Gum Care  " mode: it contains the classic "Clean" cycle + 1 minute softer stimulation and massage of the gums.
• “ Sensitive  ” mode: intended for sensitive teeth and gums, the movements are softer.

Personally, I do most of the time Clean or White mode, but from time to time I also use Gum Care (I read somewhere that you should not forget to stimulate the gums to prevent tooth loosening) .

One last thing and not least: let's talk about the noise of the electric toothbrush. I don't know about you, but in the past, it was really something that annoyed me among the competitors. I had the impression of waking up the whole household morning and/or evening when I brushed my teeth. Not pleasant at all. Well, the Sonicare DiamondClean is really very quiet compared to the others I have tested. A very soft little "buzz", like a small electric razor.

Then, a few words about the Sonicare Plaque Defense used by my companion. This is the basic Sonicare model, the speed is 31,000 movements per minute, its autonomy is 2 weeks.

It is just as good but does not offer all the modes of the previous one nor the travel box, and it recharges on a classic basis.
